Computer Aided Accounting Applications & Financial Skills
Purpose:
The course is designed to sharpen the Accounting and Financial Skills
with incorporating Computer Aided Applications at their workspace.
Who participated in the course?
The course strengthens the capacity of 25 Officers including Block
Education Officers, Principals, Sub-Divisional Engineers, Veterinary Surgeons,
and Accounts Officers; by providing an exposure to computer aided operations
such as e-TDS, GeM, Online Budgeting, e-Billing, e-Procurement, Use of Excel,
and Security issues in Computer Aided Operations.
What has been covered in this course:
In the course, greater emphasis is provided upon income tax, online
budgeting, e-billing, and Government e-Marketplace. At the end of the course, the participants
became able to (i) describe those accounting and financial applications which
can be performed by Computer Aided Applications, (ii) describe budgeting,
e-billing, e-Receipts, e-Tax Deduction at Source and use Integrated Financial Management Information
System for such operations, (iii) describe Purchase Procedures and use
e-Procurement and Government e-Market Place, (iv) use Spreadsheets
(MS-Excel) for computation of Tax Deduction at Source, (v) use of Gmail Applications and dealing
security issues at Work-space.
